The Share Button: launching a new network and community in the media industry   The Share Button is proud to present the launch of its media network, coming to the Bannister Hotel in Braamfontein, Johannesburg on Sunday, 31st of July 2022. The launch aims to be an opportunity for The Share Button’s entire network in the media and entertainment industry to come together and network. “The event will serve as a platform for upcoming artists to showcase their offerings and network with other creatives in the entertainment industry as we build a new industry. Within this community, upcoming artists are given chances to showcase their crafts, and the seasoned veterans are able to guide those aspiring, and form collaborations and/or mentorships with them.” says Karabo Masemola, founder of The Share Button. #OpenUpTheIndustry is a conversation that has been happening within the industry since 2016 and implementing the necessary changes to this found problem has been a challenge. A very warm welcome to you for entering The Share Button 's networking space. This site exists to share current news, updates, and announcements around those that are a part of the network. The Share Button is a broad network, although currently, our focus is on the arts, media and entertainment industry. Unemployment statistics are at an all-time high, and we are playing our part in contributing to the fight of combatting unemployment and a lack of opportunities.
