The Share Button: launching a new network and community in the media industry

 

The Share Button is proud to present the launch of its media network, coming to the Bannister Hotel in Braamfontein, Johannesburg on Sunday, 31st of July 2022.

The launch aims to be an opportunity for The Share Button’s entire network in the media and entertainment industry to come together and network. “The event will serve as a platform for upcoming artists to showcase their offerings and network with other creatives in the entertainment industry as we build a new industry. Within this community, upcoming artists are given chances to showcase their crafts, and the seasoned veterans are able to guide those aspiring, and form collaborations and/or mentorships with them.” says Karabo Masemola, founder of The Share Button.

#OpenUpTheIndustry is a conversation that has been happening within the industry since 2016 and implementing the necessary changes to this found problem has been a challenge. The Share Button exists to bridge the gap between established and upcoming artists, creating platforms for them to network and showcase their work. This networking hub allows for collaborations in the arts, opening artists to more opportunities that would positively impact their lives.

In the launch, The Share Button is partnering with Hip Hop on the Grind (Massiv Metro), The Mixtape Show (Alex FM), Mohlakanyo, Zkhiphani.com and Darling Yo Entertainment.

The event will showcase upcoming artists and treat audiences to appearances and performances by DJ Zan-D (YFM), Lolli Native (Emtee Records), DOX, Nozinator, 94 Records, and many more.
