I write this letter to not only give more insight on what the platform is about, but also most importantly to show much appreciation to everyone who has contributed to getting The Share Button where it is today. Many young people are doing amazing things, and they need platforms for their work to be seen and recognized. I will not speak for other industries that I am not familiar with, but I do know that the arts industry has so much gatekeeping that happens, leaving people with potential out.
